Championing inclusivity in the art sector.
Scarlett Arts Society CIC
We are a non-profit organisation working across the United Kingdom. We aim to provide free art therapy, educational workshops and artist residencies for disabled and neurodivergent artists.
We are proud to champion inclusivity within the art industry and are firm in our belief that art should be accessible to everyone.
Our core beliefs
Art can be extremely therapeutic and has been shown to help with depression and anxiety, as well as helping to alleviate the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Mental well-being is so very important, and we believe that everyone should have easy access to art therapy.
The society also believes in making art as inclusive and accessible as possible. We aim to offer paid residencies to artists, host art workshops at schools, colleges and universities as well as providing bursaries and grants to recent graduates to help kick-start their art careers.
Support for communities
Through our community outreach, we also support a range of other non-profit organisations by providing free photography, videography and podcast recording services.
Some of the non-profits we have supported include;
– Sutton United Disability FC
– North Hertfordshire Pride
– Phoenix Community Housing
– South Thames College Princes Trust
– The National Association for Children of Alcoholics
